Huawei's Big Reveal

Succeeding 2G, 3G and 4G, the latest generation of mobile technology ‘5G’ is all anyone can talk about.

Chinese tech company Huawei have unveiled the world’s first 5G modem chipset and the Kirin 980. In February the Mobile World Congress will be held and Huawei will present at least one 5G smartphone powered by the chipset (Balong 5000) to the world.

Using the new Wi-Fi 6 technology, the Huawei 5G CPE Pro delivers speeds of up to 4.8 gigabits per second.

The key features of the innovative 5G network include never seen before download speed (a 1GB HD video clip can download in just 3 seconds), 25 Mbps connectivity speed and an 8K video can be streamed smoothly without delay.
