Currently sitting in George best airport, security was quick and friendly although it is late in the evening. WiFi is quite good, downloading movies for my fight and having no problems. The Guinness isn’t bad either.
Flew to Faro from Belfast City last week and pleasantly surprised by the speed of bag drop and the processing through security which was efficient. It was an early morning flight on a Friday so not sure how good it might be on a Monday morning with lots of commuter traffic. Reasonably good range of retail outlets and whilst not the fault of Belfast City airport the coffee at Starbucks was awful (weak coloured water, please sort out Starbucks). Airport car parking could be more reasonably priced as there is no other choice. However, all in all a fairly good passenger experience from Belfast City Airport.
I travel regularly using this airport. I have never had to queue more than 10 minutes in security (maybe lucky). There is a small Duty Free Shop, limited seating, a Starbucks, one restaurant and one bar with pub grub - enough to occupy you before you go skyward.
